I checked Yelp the other day for restaurant reviews in Fairfield. I didn’t see any reviews of our own Fairfield Golf & Country Club. Somehow they got the impression that our club was closed forever and they shut down our Yelp page.
Well, I’m here to say “Hey Yelp! We are still alive and thriving!” I contacted them and today we were reactivated. I am happy to say that I put the first review of our country club onto Yelp. But we need more. Please, everybody go on Yelp and write up a review for us. Be honest, it doesn’t have to be 5 star every time but if there is a one star major gripe you have then I’d ask that you click on the About Us -> Contact Us page and let your board know about it first.

What is Yelp? It’s a site where people can write reviews of local businesses. It’s probably right behind Google searches in how people find out about local businesses. People review restaurants, golf courses, pools, bars, pretty much everything we have to offer. Somebody new to town who pulls up Yelp to find out a good place to go for the night should see us right up there as a great option.
You love your club, share that love. Enthusiast members are our best marketing.
