Happy Cinco de Derby

THEY’RE AT THE GATE!
CARAMBA!
Saturday May 3rd
4:00 pm
Cinco
What goes good with a Mint Julep?
A Margarita!

For many years we have celebrated the Kentucky Derby with tasty snacks, beverages and wagering.
Sure, it’s been fun but what we have been missing is that “South of the Border” excitement that only Cinco de Mayo can provide.
These fabulous events are closely juxtapositioned so why not double up on the celebratory activities?
This year we will be celebrating the annual run
for the roses with a party where you can have a
julep or two, snack on some tasty vittles
(that’s what they call them down South you know)
and gamble in some fun pools including
blind draws, Quinellas and Trifectas.
1285354-CincoDeMayo-038
Drawing a horse at random is a $1 bet and the Quinella and Trifecta bets will be $5 each.
(If there are no winners in those the bets, the funds will go to the Club for capital improvements.)
Chef Adam will make some fine specials
around our themes and you can dine and
stretch out your celebration into the evening.
(Part of Mexico is in Pacific time zone, so it should lead to more partying.)
Please feel free to bring a light snack for the
Derby watching to share with your amigos
(oops, that’s later)

Gambling on the sport of Kings,
enjoying refreshing adult beverages,
(bebidas refrescantes para adultos)
and spending time with your friends.
What could be better?

Put it on your calendar – you won’t want to miss it.
Happy Cinco de Derby!
