Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE*
Or at least it *could* be if you attend the annual UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER EXTRAVAGANZA at the Fairfield Golf and Country Club on Wednesday, December 17 starting at 6:00 pm and continuing until the sweaters start looking good to you.
Besides the aforementioned sweaters there will be prizes for best holiday apron, tie, most “Christmasy” and (always a crowd favorite) most tasteless. Come out and be served special holiday libations by “celebrity” bartenders. (In this case, celebrity means some of your fellow members who have graciously agreed to provide their services.) They will be soliciting tips – all of which will be donated to the club for current needs.
Give early and give often. There will be multiple shifts, so come early and stay late so you can gauge each of the teams on their mixology expertise.
You can attend and kick off the holiday party season in fine form or you can hang out with an angel named Clarence. (Note, that’s a reference to “It’s a Wonderful Life” in the event you are one of the three people on earth that have not seen the holiday standard yet.)
This will be THE party of the season that everyone will be talking about. Missing this will be like finding nothing but coal in your stocking on Christmas morn, so make sure you have it on your schedule, have a fabulous holiday outfit on hand and, most of all, attend.
